Your High-End Make-up Cheat Sheet

We love all kinds of make-up as long as its long lasting, pigmented and doesn’t hurt our skin. And sometimes it takes more than breaking the bank specially for those very special but pricey brands. They may come pricey but really really worth it. While you’re saving *wink*, I made this cheat sheet on how to achieve almost the same result with your favorite high-end make up products using drugstore to mid-level cosmetic brands.

In Summary:

  • Benefit’s Porefessional is really incomparable due to its very light coverage and work wonders. But Maybelline’s Pore Eraser also does the job which is well, to erase. It may be more intense on its Matte side which results to a weird powdery finish but if you like that then go and save a lot.
  • We all know MAC has the best lipsticks ever period. Sleek Make-up on the other hand offers the same ranges of Pinks and Reds and is also long-lasting up to 24 hours. Yup – swatched them the first time they arrived here in Manila, its soooo goood.
  • I always bring my Benetint with me as its always handy. But another side of me says that I only want to use it for special days! So what I do is slap on my favorite Nivea balm in Cherry which works almost the same as the Benebalm and tint on the Color|Full lip and cheek tint while I easily achieve this rosy flush which we gals always wanted.
  • While Sigma is the latest hit by most Youtube Beauty Bloggers, here’s Happy Skin to bring you more happiness because of their fluffy and even make-up brushes for just Php2499 you get 8 pieces of quality brushes that comes with a Travel Cosmetic Bag. They just have a small range though compared of course to Sigma.

I have been blogging for 11 years and have seen the ups and downs of internet marketing. I love blogging about travel and comfort food while I work full time as a Digital Marketing Manager for an IT Company. On my free time I play the piano and love to do online window shopping. I am obsessed too with city lights at night.
