It has been officially announced that one of the most beautiful Island in the world a.k.a Boracay Island will be closed starting on 26 April for 6 consecutive months to undergo rehabilitation. Being able to go to Boracay for more than five (5) times, I got deeply attached to this spectacular paradise, its heart & soul from the dazzling sunrise to incomparable sunsets – I, for sure will miss it. I truly hope that its just for 6 months and do look forward in seeing the Island being saved unleashing its natural beauty once again. With that being said, here are the top things that I will miss about Boracay:
- Stunning Views
As the plane and boat transfer approaches the island, we can immediately see the glimmering sands and welcoming waves. These views can be easily appreciated up close and from afar at the Ocean Tower of Mt. Luho that offers 360 views of the Island.
- Versatile Night Life
Most people if you ask them their top reason of going to Boracay is because of its popular night life. You can go passionate for romantic nights or go wild at heart all night from numerous bars just by the shore.

- Unrivaled Sunsets
Need I say more? Pink, Orange, Purple skies can be witnessed while you’re at the island. No two sunsets are alike. The sunsets are best enjoyed while doing Paraw Sailing, Para Sailing or just simple Kayaking or Paddle Boarding.
- Unique hospitality that captures our heart
Boracay is home to hotels that exemplifies one of a kind hospitality and character. Just some of these are Philippines’ # 1 rated resort at Trip Advisor Coast Boracay and the underrated Bali inspired – Nigi Nigi Nu Noos.
- Endless Activities and Art of Doing Nothing
Last but not the least, the thought and feeling of liking the island life and not running out of things to do. The clear white beach and fine powdery sand on your toes makes every moment picture perfect specially if you are with that special someone.
I can go on and on with the list yet for now, thank you and we will miss you Boracay. We will wait for you!
SEA YOU SOON.
