Albert Avellana, President of The Museum Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI), was teary eyed with his grateful speech during the Media Preview of MaArte Fair at The Peninsula Manila.
Now on its 10th year, the MaArte Fair, organized by MFPI highlights interesting range of creative products created by Filipino Artisans consisting of high quality and distinctive characters mostly found within its materials.
In just a few days, bazaar lovers can look forward to a Pinoy Man Cave created by the MFPI opening an exhibition for both men and women at the 2nd level of The Peninsula Manila.
From August 10 – 12, 2018, everyone can enjoy a mix of fashion and accessories almost curated for men by the exhibitors.

MaArte at The Pen is free and open to the general public. The fair is one of the major fundraising events of the The Museum Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (MFPI). For each item sold, it will help preserve and promote Philippine Art & Culture and you can also provide support for the National Museim and other museums in the Philippines!

No event would be complete without the finishing venue touches and food & beverage. The Peninsula Manila continues to be the home of MaArte Fair and host of MaArTEA, a series of informal talks that provides insights behind the crafts.
Take part in a special Afternoon Tea served by The Pen in partnership with MFPI and Tsaa Laya. This special set will be served at The Lobby until September 5. During the MaArte Fair, it will be served at the upper lobby 2F.
Indulge in a selection of Tropical & Filipino organic teas developed specially by Tsaa Laya accompanied by delicious savory nibbles that will include Poached prawn salad
seasoned with celery, onions, garlic aioli, and pickled shallots; Smoked honeyed ham with kesong puti, heirloom tomatoes, and slathered with basil pesto; Lemongrass panna cotta; Davao chocolate ginger mousse; Peninsula English raisin scones served with pots of dalandan curd, Baguio strawberry jam, and clotted cream; and many more!
