Citadines Bay City Full Review

The Ascott Limited opens another eminent hotel, this time at one of the hottest spots in Metro Manila, Aseana Bay City. Nestled along the shorelines of Manila Bay surrounded by endless entertainment, attractions and shops, curtained by beautiful sunrise and sunsets, Citadines Bay City is your new chic home address in the Philippines.

Opening Highlights

November 28, 2018 – it was a beautiful afternoon when the lightly champagne colored hotel structure was filled with traditional Filipino decor. With colorful “pedicab” & “jeepney” displays welcoming guests at the entrance as the signature transportation means of the country.

Mr. Daniel Wee, Country Manager of the Ascott Limited Philippines is proud to present the newest hotel addition, located in the bay area and near historical spots of Manila making it the ideal jumpoff point in discovering & rediscovering the city.

Meanwhile, Mr. Rennan Reyes, Residence Manager, said that these are exciting times for Ascott, making it the 8th Property in the Philippines. He gave thanks to the staff who worked round timelessly in preparation for the opening. The Spa, Pool Deck with Running Path and ballroom are the newest captivating facilities of the hotel.

During the opening, media guests enjoyed a 6-course early dinner prepared by Citadines’ accredited caterer – Raintree Catering. The dinner featured an array of innovative modern Filipino dishes.

First Impressions

Citadines is known for its serviced apartments equipped with everything you need and highest class of personalized service. I was very grateful to have experienced the 1 bedroom unit of the hotel. The hotel offers 4 room types with 2 categories: Deluxe (Studio Deluxe * Studio Twin) & Premier (Studio Premier & 1 bedroom – premier). Most photos and review you would see below are for 1 Bedroom Premier.

The 1 Bedroom Premier offers almost 50sqm of space including a spacious living room, dining, fully equipped kitchen, your own digital washing machine, bathroom, work desks and a cozy bedroom.

The overall feel of the room gives a fresh, airy & modern vibe with pastel colors of yellow, gray, blue and beige. I am very much impressed with their generosity when it comes to the space and how they anticipated your needs whether your staying for short or long term.

Specially with the kitchen as it consists of complete cutlery and cooking ware. You can do a full blast cooking!

The ensuite bathroom has a wide mirror and modern rainshower. Their toiletries are by Crabtree & Evelyn London.

The bedroom has its own share of the window and a large LED Screen. It also has a working space with adjustable mirror lighting. The bed is just so irresistible, filled with luscious feather comforters and duvet covers.

Always hands down when it comes to service specially when its Citadines. The staff seems already experienced, even if it was just a soft launch. Everyone was attentive and happy to offer assistance.

Facilities

Citadines Bay City is considered to be one of the largest Citadines in the Philippines. Everything is at reach as the structure features a large pool with running deck, a massive gym, lounges, pool bar, all day dining, spa, and coming soon, events & meeting spaces.

Happy Breakfasts

The breakfast buffet welcomed us with seasoned juices, various main courses, rice, noodles, freshly cooked omelettes, cute fruits and bakery.

Your lifestyle by the bay awaits

The hotel and location is perfect for families, groups of friends coming to explore the city from day to night. You will never run out of activities and dining options. The hotel is in close proximity too to/from the airport. And what i like the most is it has the signature Citadines personalized service, topped up with the latest facilities and newest modern design inspired by sea breeze and Filipino Culture. I have been blogging for 11 years and have seen the ups and downs of internet marketing. I love blogging about travel and comfort food while I work full time as a Digital Marketing Manager for an IT Company. On my free time I play the piano and love to do online window shopping. I am obsessed too with city lights at night.
