The much awaited yearly shopping event opens on August 16 to 18 at The Peninsula Manila! The crafts & arts fair is stepping up its game with more premium lifestyle offerings by 65 exhibitors and a unique concept for a more fun & festive vibe.

The exhibit will be protruded through an iconic Scene in the early 2000s remembered at the famous North Syquia open house parties. The fair would be recreated through a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by cocktails & endless art inspiration. In other words, you may expect the hand picked collections of the merchants beautifully housed in units like the salons & lounge areas of the said residential edifice. Two floors of The Manila Peninsula will be temporarily cleared to make way for this amazing concept!

No two MaArte Fair experience are the same. It is beyond a shopping event. Each year, enthusiasts are looking forward to a distinctive gathering and vibrant energy of advocates for Philippine art, crafts & heritage.

What makes MaArte Fair beyond elegant is that it is organized by Muesum Foundation of the Philippins, Inc (MFPI) who is a fundraiser for the National Museum and its network. Proceeds of the MaArte Fair has benefited various projects including National Museum of Natural History. Wow!

Albert Avellana, President of MFPI is truly grateful for the media who attended the preview as it very much recognizes the work that they do. I myself has been more than inspired into writing this article as the fair has exceeded its limits of benefiting our very own arts & cultural heritage. It makes me feel proud of our Filipino innovators & artisans

MaArte started as a table bazaar 11 years ago. We only have about 10-15 exhibitors and now we have 65 brands exhibiting in 46 rooms and 2 guest room floors of The Peninsula Manila. And because of this new set up our guests can experience a new type of shopping from the usual bazaar to a more of an intimate visiting of the studios.

Albert is as teary eyed as last year when I saw him do his speech. He is very sincere and indeed grateful to everyone who continuously supports the fair with special mention of The Peninsula Manila.

The MaArte oPen house runs from August 16 to 18, 10am to 8pm at the Peninsula Manila in Makati City. Free Admisson. Enjoy a cup of coffee and pastry for only Php350 or donate Php1,500 and enjoy a selection of beverages.

Hope to see you there!

I have been blogging for 11 years and have seen the ups and downs of internet marketing. I love blogging about travel and comfort food while I work full time as a Digital Marketing Manager for an IT Company. On my free time I play the piano and love to do online window shopping. I am obsessed too with city lights at night.
